La Cave reopened in 2004 under the new management of owner François Alips and his daughter Corinne.
La Cave offers a genuinely Parisian atmosphere and the superb cuisine of France, as designed and served by François, who along with Corinne, is a native.
François, who specialized in French cuisine during a long and distinguish career in the peninsula such as at "L'Auberge", Redwood City, took the former Bistro under his wing, and is now pleased to offer lunches, dinners and private parties for special occasions, events and cooking classes.
La Cave is honored to provide the catering for numerous cultural affairs of the alliance Française, the French cultural center of the Bay Area.
La Cave is named for its cozy underground atmosphere and architectural design, where is reminiscent of a "Cave", or wine cellar, in France. This could be your gateway to Paris so come and feel the warmth of our cellars and dine an exquisite French cuisine, at La Cave.
